- Set and maintain a regular bedtime, every night.
- Have dinner at least 3 hrs before going to sleep
- Do not exercise at least 3 hrs before bedtime
- Avoid coffee, tea, smoking or tobacco 3 hrs before sleep
- Avoid emotionally upsetting activities close to bedtime
- Make comfortable bed, ambient temperature, dark & quiet room before falling asleep
- Avoid daytime naps
- Exercise regularly. Avoid inactivity.
- Enjoy relaxing bedtime routine for an hour before bedtime.
