Yoga as lifestyle !

A lecture on yoga and mental health at Yoga Vidya Niketan Vashi. Interactive session with around 300 Yoga teachers and trainers over developing healthy habit of yoga as a lifestyle in prevention of psychological problems & disorders. The demonstartions and posters by the trainers created interest and motivated visitors to take up yoga. Yoga as a therapy (60 mins of exercise) can be effective complementary treatment to existing treatment modalities in the psychiatry. Prevention is better than cure. Yoga as a lifestyle is most effective prevention technique for common psychological problems. Yoga can be adopted as a lifestyle as well as therapy. #yogaaslifestyle or #yogaastherapy….  win-win situation!
